Our Purpose
The purpose of Watchout is simple!
After years of being entrenched in the world of watches we’ve began to realize how serious the watch community can be. Our goal with this site is to share a perspective different from the traditional, stuffy, impersonal publications that currently exist in the marketplace by providing an alternative that is highly relatable to the new age watch enthusiast. The Watchout blog is here to provide honest, easy to understand knowledge and act as resource for everyone not matter if you are just getting in to the hobby or if you have been here for a while! In addition, any watch enthusiast or collector knows that the most addicting part of this hobby is the hunt for the next piece.
The content published on Watchout is based on premise of providing information we wished was easier to find when first getting into this hobby. We are looking to provide resources that will make the hobby easier to navigate through both publishing our own content and referring our readers to other valuable resources.

Meet The Creator
Hi I’m Eric Steinberg, the creator of the Watchout blog.
It took all of my friends and family to begin ignoring my constant talk of watches for me to turn my passion into something tangible. I have been deep in the hobby for a few years now and I am excited share my passion with the community. Aside from watches I enjoy travel, the outdoors and obsessing about my favorite sports teams.
